Responsibilities
• To establish policies for the operation of the PLGA Global Educational Foundation, Inc.

• To develop specific strategies to enhance the Mission of the PLGA Global Educational Foundation, Inc.

• To provide oversight for the scholarship and educational grant programs

• To participate in solicitation of funds and support “in kind” for the scholarship and educational grant programs.

Commitment
• Board of Trustee membership is for one year, with renewal for up to four years at the discretion of the candidate and the approval of the Foundation’s Executive committee.

• The Board will hold two in-person meetings annually, linked to the two PLGA Global conference dates.

• Two to four additional meetings will be held via teleconferencing. The teleconference meetings will be preceded by e-mail preparation, therefore, should require no more than one hour per teleconference.
